Thank you for talking with me on the phone regarding my installation. As you know, I bought Gutter Genius® DIY™ from a local Do it Best home center and I couldn't be happier. The locking clips make the product easy to install, and the tip you gave me about using the clear silicone to prevent the ice from moving the clips around in the winter will pay big dividends up here.

As we discussed, I had 3 bids from gutter protection companies and they were all ridiculous. One company wanted over $4,700 to cover my existing gutters with a stainless steel screen! I bought 12 boxes, or 148' ofGutter Genius® DIY™ at the home center for $250 including sales taxes!

I'm about to turn 67 years old, and I'm happy to say that my days of climbing ladders to clean my gutters are over now. I'm telling all my friends about Gutter Genius® DIY™ now, so I guess you can call me a "Raving Genius" too!

I am a handyman in the lake region of South Carolina, and a committed believer in Gutter Genius® DIY™. I've installed several different gutter protection products purchased from local lumber yards, including brushes, plastic covers and foam inserts. In every case, I've pulled them out after 1 or 2 seasons. They just didn't hold up, and they clogged quickly.

My business is almost 100% referral, so it's important to me that the products I use hold up, and work. If they don't, I have to service and stand behind them or I lose my referral business. Not a problem with Gutter Genius® DIY™!

I like that your product is solid aluminum, that it installs quickly and easily, and that it's low profile . . . almost invisible from the ground. Most of all, I appreciate that you don't over sell it. It's easy to install, and easy to maintain when it does eventually clog. And that's exactly what I tell my customers!

Best of all, it works! The water goes into the gutter, and the debris falls to the ground. It's also less than half the price of the other brushes and foam inserts that failed.

Dear Gutter Genius,

Thank you for shipping me the 200' of Gutter Genius® DIY™ to get the work done on my vacation house. I had a slow start, but once I got the hang of it, the job moved along quickly. I had one panel left when I finished the job! It's done exactly what you promised too. It installed fairly easily, it's very durable, and it handles both the debris and the rainwater, and we get a lot of both in the mountains of Georgia.

I'm not big on DIY projects, so I approached this a bit warily. It took me longer to move and climb the ladder than it did to install your product, and while it took a bit longer to hit the clips with the silicone adhesive you recommended (for the snow we get up here from time to time), in the end I'll be glad I took the extra time.

I don't get excited about DIY products, but your product is a winner! It should be in every hardware store where there's trees!

Dear Gutter Genius,

I wanted to thank you making a great, easy to install, quality product in Gutter Genius® DIY™. I bought 2 boxes to test it on the back of my home, and I'm about to reorder enough to finish the house. I did my homework before I ever bought the first 2 boxes, and found the owner's comments on a blog online. I liked his candid approach when he said, plain and simple, everything clogs eventually no matter what the cost. And believe me, some of the products I looked at would have required a 2nd mortgage!

It's a simple product, just like your product literature says. It's a piece of sheet metal with a curve in it, but the locking clips make it work! The simple design is really something, and most importantly, it really works! We've had some gully washers here in the past few weeks, and it worked perfectly, even in the roof valleys where I used the screen. I had 2 of my neighbors standing out in the rain watching it work! I made believers out of them too.

I bought the product for 4 good reasons. First, it was affordable. Second, it was solid metal, just like my gutters. Third, it was easy to install, and will be easy to clean if it ever clogs. Fourth, it didn't require any nails in the roof or screws in the gutters. I have no doubt at all that it will live up to my expecations

It's been great talking with you about your Gutter Genius® DIY™ over the past few days. I can't tell you how refreshing it's been to find someone who cuts through the "B.S." in this gutter protection racket. What a racket, too! As you know, I've had quotes from 4 different companies and every single one had the best "technology" and the best warranty. I thought I'd have to call the cops to get 2 of those guys out of my house! It would have been funny if it weren't so irritating.

When it dawned on me that these guys wanted 4 or 5 times more for the gutter protection than I'd pay for new gutters, I knew I had a problem. That's when I jumped online and found Gutter Genius® DIY™. The comparison chart on your website was very helpful, but when I called the 888 number and the owner called me back, that was a rare experience. You said two things that really hit home with me. One was "The best gutter protection is a clean gutter", then you pointed out that for the cost of most systems, you could pay to clean your gutters for 20 or 30 years. The other was "Everything clogs eventually, there's no such thing as maintenance free", then you pointed out that the DIY product is easy to install, and easy to maintain. It was very common sense.

I've got them installed now, and I'm looking forward to fall, when I can sit on the front porch and watch my neighbors clean their gutters!

Dear Gutter Genius,

Last year I had [the large National brand] quote me a price on 100 feet of gutter protection, and they wanted $3000! It was a simple two-story job with a fairly new gutter, perhaps 5 years old. I had my son drive down to the local Do it Center to see what they had, and he bought 10 boxes of your Gutter Genius® DIY™ product for about $175 or so. The store owner had it on his house, and he strongly recommended it.

Well that was last spring, and we haven't had a problem since. We have maples, oaks, ash and locust trees all over the yard and I'm happy to report that the junk off the trees is on the ground, not in the gutter. It's just so nice to buy a product that lives up to it's claims, and doesn't break the bank.

I'm writing this letter to let you know that I appreciate your fine product. I don't know why anyone would buy anything else!
